The Rock and Roll Lawyer Show® has expanded to cutting edge HD and Internet Radio and can boast to being the "new voice" in Detroit Radio.  We now broadcast simultaneously on 99.5 WYCD HD3/Detroit and at WWW.MICHIGANSAVER.COM every Thursday from 3pm to 5pm.

Hosted by Attorney Sheldon L. Kay who provides his listeners with a unique blend of comedy, law and special guests, that’s woven together with rare music never heard on the Detroit Airwaves. Rock & Roll, Rockabilly, R& B and the schrie of Little Richard is what you'll hear. In fact, it's the only show in Detroit with an ounce of cool!  The Rock & Roll Lawyer looks at the law and legal system in an irreverent way. He is a cross between Eddie Haskel, F.Lee Bailey and Elvis. We get close to the edge sometimes and that’s how we like it. There is no other show like this anywhere.....Jack.

A little history... Sheldon L. Kay , me, better known as The Rock and Roll Lawyer was abducted by the Michigan State Bar in 1977 and has been performing on stage since 1965 as a guitar player.  Although I love keeping criminals on the street, amongst other areas of the law, something was still inside of me that had to get out.  Hence the show was born, I also had to change my clothes.  Seriously, I combined my musical career with law. Hence the show was born (oui..sorry I just repeated that) in 2005.

The show "aint" your typical legal show.  Your not going to hear questions like "Why is my landlord evicting me (did you pay your rent?) when I had an all night party (what a schmuck that guy was for asking me that question)" or  "is it unlawful if you fail to wash your hands after leaving a public restroom and he didn't even work there?". That stuff is for the boring legal shows and it "don't cut it on our show" (I know some say English is my second language). Its a cross between Music, Law and Comedy, along with the bunch of crazy schmucks, legal misfits and walk-ins who are coming along for the free ride.

Not only can the show be heard every Thursday on 99.5 WYCD HD3 and MICHIGANSAVER.COM but it can be heard weekly every Friday night at 6PM to 7PM on WPON 1460 AMAlso, it is broadcast at their website www.wpon.com
